F1 Singapore 2026: Dates, Schedule and the Complete Race Week Guide

Singapore, 19 September 2026

F1 Singapore returns from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026 at Marina Bay Street Circuit. F1 Singapore 2026 is a sprint weekend, giving the F1 Singapore GP an official programme of First Practice, Sprint Qualifying, the Sprint, Qualifying and the 62-lap race. This guide brings the Singapore Grand Prix 2026 timetable, circuit background and F1 Singapore race week after-dark programme into one place, with links to the detailed guides for each part.

The defining point for planning is that meaningful track activity runs across all three days. Friday includes the weekend's only practice session before Sprint Qualifying. Saturday carries both the Sprint and Grand Prix Qualifying. Sunday is centred on the Grand Prix itself. All session times below are Singapore local time and come from the published Formula 1 timetable.

F1 Singapore 2026 Dates and Official Schedule

On Friday 9 October, First Practice runs from 16:30 to 17:30. Sprint Qualifying follows from 20:30 to 21:14. On Saturday 10 October, the Sprint is scheduled from 17:00 to 17:30, followed by Qualifying from 21:00 to 22:00. On Sunday 11 October, the 62-lap Grand Prix runs from 20:00 to 22:00.

The official timetable is published on the Formula 1 website. That page should be the reference point for the on-track schedule. The sequence matters: there is only one practice session before competitive running begins, and Saturday contains two separate competitive sessions before Sunday's race.

How the F1 Singapore GP Sprint Format Works

The sprint format adds a shorter race on Saturday while preserving the Grand Prix on Sunday. In Singapore, the published sequence begins with First Practice, then moves to Sprint Qualifying on Friday night. The Sprint follows on Saturday afternoon, while Saturday night's Qualifying determines the order for the main race. The Grand Prix remains the final on-track session on Sunday night.

For a visitor, this means no day is simply a lead-in. Friday has practice and Sprint Qualifying, Saturday has the Sprint and Qualifying, and Sunday has the race. The dedicated Singapore night race guide looks more closely at the weekend's night-race character, while this page remains the overall planning reference.

Marina Bay Street Circuit

Marina Bay Street Circuit opened in 2008, when Singapore staged the first night race in F1 history. A layout change in 2023 reduced the corner count from 23 to 19. The circuit and its place in the city are covered in greater detail in the Marina Bay Street Circuit guide.

The official programme moves between late afternoon and evening, finishing with night sessions on all three days. That pattern is the practical frame for the week: decide which circuit sessions you intend to attend, then treat hospitality and private events as separate bookings around them. Amber Lounge does not sell circuit admission or any official Formula 1 product.

Tickets and Official F1 Singapore Hospitality

Current circuit ticket prices and availability should be checked through the official promoter ticket site or the official F1 ticket store. The promoter offers sprint bundles, and its ticket information is quoted in Singapore dollars with 9% GST included. As availability and information can change, use the official page rather than an unverified third-party figure.

The official hospitality programme is available through F1 Experiences. Amber Lounge does not sell Paddock Club hospitality, and this guide does not reproduce unverified prices or inclusion lists for circuit products.

How F1 Singapore Race Week Works After Dark

Amber Lounge Singapore runs on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October 2026 at Clifford Pier, The Fullerton Bay Hotel, 80 Collyer Quay, Singapore 049326. Doors open at 9:00 PM on both nights. Saturday's programme lists apl.de.ap and J. Rey Soul, of the Black Eyed Peas. Sunday's programme lists Eve, and Siangyoo is also on the bill. Set times and the running order have not been published.

Amber Lounge is an independent private event and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by Formula 1, the FIA or the race promoter, and a race ticket is not required to attend. The circuit and the Clifford Pier event are separate bookings. The Clifford Pier race week guide covers the venue, while the Singapore nightlife after dark guide places the two nights within the wider weekend.

Amber Penthouse is a different product in a different building. It runs from 4PM until late on Saturday and Sunday at The Fullerton Lighthouse, The Fullerton Hotel, 1 Fullerton Square, Singapore 049178. It is sold as one two-day booking. Details are on the Amber Penthouse page.

Building a Complete F1 Singapore Race Week Plan

Start with the official session timetable and confirm circuit access through an official ticket channel. Then decide whether your evening plans are circuit hospitality, a separate private event, or both. Friday's final session ends after Sprint Qualifying. Saturday moves from the Sprint to night Qualifying, while Sunday culminates in the Grand Prix. Amber Lounge follows the Saturday and Sunday programmes only, with doors at 9:00 PM each night.

The rest of the Amber Lounge calendar runs in Monaco, Singapore and Abu Dhabi, but this guide is specifically for the Singapore weekend from 9 to 11 October 2026.
