Taxis and private hire vehicles can enter the Marina Centre area during the closure period. The restriction applies during active race sessions only. For an evening at Amber Lounge, the relevant sessions will have finished hours before the doors open at 9PM. Practically, that means a taxi or Grab can get you within a short walk of the Fullerton Bay Hotel, but the specific drop-off point depends on which roads LTA has opened that evening. Do not expect to be set down at the hotel entrance. A five-to-ten minute walk from wherever the car can reach is a reasonable working assumption.

If your hotel is on the waterfront or in the CBD, walking is often the most direct route and the one that sidesteps re-routing uncertainty entirely. The waterfront promenade from the Boat Quay direction stays accessible. Fullerton Road leads directly to the hotel from the Raffles area and is straightforward even during the closure.

Budget thirty minutes of travel time more than you think you need. That buffer is not anxiety; it is the difference between a composed arrival and a flustered one. The championship continues after Singapore: Abu Dhabi follows 4 to 6 December at the W Hotel on Yas Island. But the Marina Bay edition has its own weight, and arriving on time is part of it.
